Reflections from an Artist #1: Trust the Process

A question I sometimes struggle to answer is about my work process and approach. I know what I do and how I do it, but putting it into words is another challenge.

The reality is: I’m an artist. And the creative process isn’t always straightforward.

I start with a vision, plan, begin, and refine until completion. I need to see the full picture and work through the layers to create something meaningful.

The process can be messy, balancing refinement and risk, science and art. At times, it looks like chaos, like it might never come together. Until suddenly, it does.

That’s the beauty of creating.

Trust the process, believe in yourself, and know that what looks uncertain is actually building toward something great.
